Online ordering

The online ordering service is configured via the management interface. It includes the basic configuration for online ordering, as well as the configuration for each type of order (takeout, delivery or at the table orders).

Note that you can manage the online ordering service for a branch as well as for an entire company.

Access the service configurations

  1. Access to the configuration of services is via the general navigation menu, under the Configurations tab.
  2. Select Online ordering and you will have access to the general configuration of the online ordering service as well as to the order types via the platform.

Feature configuration

The functionality configuration allows you to activate or deactivate the order types available through the online ordering platform.

A disabled order type will not appear on the ordering platform. You can also deactivate an ordering service while making it possible to configure it by checking the box under the desired service.

Note that if you want to deactivate the entire online ordering service, you can do so through an emergency closure.

Geolocation configuration (for the company only)

This section allows you to manage geolocation for your business. Enter a Google API key, then turn map display and geolocation on or off.

Emergency closing configuration

Deactivate the full online ordering service via an emergency closure. The emergency closure renders the iShopFood online ordering platform inactive, including all types of orders. You also have the option of leaving a message to your users, stating the reason for the closure.

Tip configuration

Select the desired values for the tips in percentages, and assign a default value to your tip choices.

Other configuration

Anonymous ordering: Activating this configuration allows your customers to order online without creating an account on the iShopFood ordering platform or registering via Facebook.

Activate comments box: Activating this setting allows your customers to leave comments on the selected products (For example: “Allergy to mushrooms”).

Click Save when your configurations are complete.
